Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory is the resin, directly 3D-printed fitting-out of the wing gun bays of the P-40E Warhawk fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a detail set from the Brassin range, not an aircraft kit. It lets you show the wing with the panels open and the armament installation exposed.
Open gun bays are a rewarding subject that brings an otherwise smooth wing to life. The 3D print handles thin bulkheads, the barrel mountings and the fine runs of wiring that could not be made in plastic. Once painted and weathered, the bay looks considerably more convincing.
The matching panels have to be cut out of the plastic wing. Clean the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue with cyanoacrylate. Shade the inside and bring out the detail with a wash. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The package holds the resin accessory only. The paints, the glue and the base model are not included.
