The 1:72 Grumman A-6E TRAM Intruder SPACE set brings decals with relief for the cabin of the carrier-based attack aircraft.

The Intruder cabin is unusual in that the crew sits side by side, so its full width is visible from above. It is therefore worth doing properly. The Eduard accessory offers decals with printed relief for it, which give the instrument panels both depth and color. The scale matches the figure 1:72 from the name.
First spray the interior and give it a gloss coat, and only then move on to the decals. Transfer the smaller elements on the tip of a damp brush, and support the larger ones with a strip of paper. Once they are dry, check whether air has been left anywhere, and close the cabin only after it has fully cured. A matte overcoat will unify the result.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was a subsonic carrier-based bomber that made its name mainly through its ability to work at night and in bad weather. The A-6E TRAM version received a rotating ball turret with sensor equipment under the forward fuselage for precise target acquisition and designation. The blunt nose and the thick wing profile with folding tips are characteristic as well. The machines served with the US Navy and the Marine Corps until the nineties.
