Static grass tufts 2 mm, dry brown from Green Stuff World: self-adhesive tufts of dried-out low grass.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of self-adhesive grass tufts with fibers two millimeters high in a dry brown shade. Brown grass on a diorama does not mean a mistake but a statement of the season and the surroundings: this is what the growth looks like at the end of summer, on parched soil and in desert regions. The low height of the fibers corresponds to grazed and trampled grass and suits figure bases.
A tuft is peeled off the sheet and pressed into place. On a smooth and clean surface the adhesive layer holds on its own, on grainy terrain add a drop of thinned PVA glue. You will reach the most faithful result by combining brown and green tufts: in nature a whole area never dries out at once, it dries first where there is the most sun and the least soil. A few green islands among the dry tufts will therefore give the scene a credibility that a single-colored area does not have.
For painters of figures, for builders of desert and summer dioramas and for railroad modelers. Dry shades suit winter and fall scenes as well, because grass under snow and after frosts looks similar to grass dried out by the sun.
This is a small material with an adhesive layer. Store it out of the reach of children under three years of age and keep the sheet flat, so that the tufts do not get crushed.
