The seat 1:48 A6M Zero Seat Early with starting handle - ASK 3D Print from Art Scale will replace the simplified part in the cockpit of the Japanese fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
The printed part brings the form of the seat from the first production series of the Japanese carrier fighter, completed with the handle stowed close to it. Printing technology manages the thin shells and the lightening holes that cannot be made in an injection mold, so under an open canopy the difference against the part from the basic box is immediately obvious.
The Mitsubishi A6M changed literally from series to series during the war: the output grew, the armament and the cockpit fittings changed. Anyone building a machine from the early period needs a different interior from someone who has chosen a late version. The brand therefore also offers a version without the handle, and the choice between them is precisely the difference between early and later examples. It pays to determine the correct form from a photograph of the particular aircraft before the cockpit is closed.
Remove the print support rods with nippers right up close to the part and level the rest with a fine-grit sanding sponge. Wash the surface briefly and let it dry thoroughly, otherwise the primer will not take. Apply the color of the Japanese interior thinly so that the texture is not lost, and add the belts to your own choice.
Neither the harness nor a kit of the aircraft belongs to the part.
