1:48 Tiger 222 Crew Normandy 1944 No.3 - WSS is a single resin figure of a tank crewman for scenes with a heavy tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
The third figure of the crew line completes the commander and the accompanying figures into a whole that can be arranged around the vehicle. The shaping counts on the crewman standing or leaning against the armor, so the stance comes across as relaxed. The material is 3D printed resin, and the buyer gets one unworked piece with its supports.
The fighting in Normandy went on at distances of a few hundred meters, among earth banks overgrown with bushes, where a heavy tank lost most of its advantage. The crews spent their days camouflaging the vehicle with branches and nets, repairing the running gear and waiting; anyone who climbed out usually did so at dusk. The closed space of a fighting vehicle, the heat and the noise meant that the crews stayed outside whenever the situation allowed. It is exactly such moments that figures of this kind capture.
Before you glue the figure on, try it dry in the place where it is meant to go; with leaning poses the angle of an arm or a boot often has to be adjusted slightly. Sanding the contact surface to the shape of the armor makes the joint invisible. Paint the figure separately from the vehicle and join them only once the varnish has dried.
Arrange the paints and the glue separately.
