A set of SX-Art self-adhesive paint masks simplifies spraying a model of the Japanese Aichi B7A2 Ryusei Kai carrier torpedo and dive bomber, designated Grace by the Allies, in 1:48 scale. The precisely cut parts cover the broken-up glazing of the long canopy and other areas for clean, sharp edges.
The Aichi B7A Ryusei was a high-performance Japanese carrier bomber from the end of the Second World War that combined the roles of torpedo and dive bomber. It was built in small numbers only and is among the late Japanese types prized by collectors.
Stick the films onto a degreased and dry finish and press the edges down carefully, so that paint cannot run under the mask. Spray in thin coats and peel the mask off before it has hardened completely. The long canopy with its many frames is markedly easier thanks to the pre-cutting.
The masking set is an accessory for the model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
