The eight-figure set 1:72 Russian soldiers (8 fig.) from SX-Art for populating dioramas and display cases in a small scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from the SX-Art brand brings, according to the name, eight figures of soldiers in a small scale. Unlike the masks the brand is known for, these are three-dimensional figures intended for building a scene: equipment crews, a guard by a vehicle, a crew resting beside their machine. Eight figures is a number that will do for a whole scene, not just for completing a pair.
A figure just under three centimeters tall is built up differently from a large one. The detail of a face is not modeled but suggested with shadow, and the silhouette is what decides: the lean of the body, the position of the arms, the outline of the equipment. That is exactly why figures in this scale are sold in groups, so that a believable scene with several different poses can be built at once.
Wash the figures in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry out thoroughly. Apply the primer as thinly as possible, so that it does not flood the engraving. The body then only needs lightening with a dry brush and the folds bringing out with a dark shade. Small figures stand out better when they are finished and only then set into the terrain.
The set holds the figures. Paints, a base and a vehicle are not supplied with it.
