Accessory headlights for the BMP-3 model in 1:35 scale from the Armour Models brand. The small parts replace the simplified shapes from the box.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small workshop accessory that deals with one particular place on the model. The headlights for the infantry fighting vehicle BMP-3 are made in 1:35 scale and suit everywhere a builder wants finer shapes on the front part of the hull than the base casting offers.
The BMP-3 entered service at the close of the 1980s as the successor of the older tracked carriers of the same family. It combines a low silhouette, an amphibious hull and unusually strong armament in a two-man turret. The engine is placed at the rear, which moved the exit of the crew above the power unit, and the whole vehicle comes across as entirely distinctive among tracked vehicles.
Before fitting, clean up the surfaces where the parts are to seat and remove the original simplified moldings. The miniature components are secured with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue applied with a pin, so that the excess does not run over the surroundings. It pays to paint them before gluing.
Protective grilles, tow ropes and small tools laid out over the hull suit the headlights, because it is precisely these things that make a modern vehicle look alive. If you are preparing the model for a scene, count on the glass of the headlight drawing the eye first of all.
