A figure of a French commando of the Second World War in 1:35 scale, the fourth item of a series devoted to Kieffer's naval commandos.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single figure of a soldier for completing a diorama or a display case. It carries the sequence number 4 in the name, so it is one piece from a wider series devoted to the same unit. In 1:35 scale a standing figure of an adult man comes out at roughly five centimeters, which is the usual height of figures built to go with models of equipment in the same scale.
Kieffer's commandos were French naval infantrymen who during the Second World War served alongside British commando units and carried the name of their commander Philippe Kieffer. The unit is associated above all with the landings in Normandy. Their equipment was of British origin, so the figure goes well with models of Allied equipment and with the other figures of the series.
Before painting, wash the figure in lukewarm water with a little detergent and let it dry out thoroughly, as paint holds badly on a greasy surface. Seat the parts dry first and check how the figure stands on its base; only then join them. Apply the base color in a thin layer, otherwise the folds of the cloth and the small items of equipment will disappear. Leave the face and the hands until the end and shade them with a glaze, not with an opaque color. The exact procedure for preparing the parts and the recommended glue are in the manufacturer's instructions.
Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
