A Polaris quad bike in the gear of modern special units, 1:35 scale. A printed resin model of a light off-road vehicle which is commonly carried in the belly of a helicopter or on the cargo bed of a larger vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
Quad bikes of the Polaris brand belong to the standard gear of units that need to carry equipment and the wounded where a car cannot get. The machine fits into the cargo space of a helicopter, carries more than its own weight and in quiet mode can be used for a move at night without giving itself away.
The basis is the frame with the axles; it is a good idea to glue that and let it cure properly, and only then to add the small items such as the handlebars, the carriers and the lights. The transitions between the parts can be refined with a thin skim of putty. The material is sensitive to excessive pressure, so do the sanding with fine paper and rather with more short strokes than one strong one. Glue the wheels on only once the underside is painted, otherwise you will not reach the bottom with a brush.
The vehicle stands out as a part of a casualty evacuation post, with stretchers or crates of ammunition loaded on it. It works just as well parked under a camouflage net next to larger equipment, where it acts as a contrast of scale. A depiction with cargo tied down with straps or with a towed trailer looks interesting as well. Paints, decals and a crew are not part of the delivery and are added separately.
