The package contains twenty printed emergency buttons in 1:24 scale and a decal sheet with the pictograms for disconnecting the electrical circuit and releasing the extinguisher. Every button has a head 1.3 millimeters in diameter and a pin 0.75 millimeters in diameter, so it fits into a pre-drilled hole and holds firmly with no packing.
Sporting regulations require that a car can be switched off from the outside and from the inside alike. The outer control tends to be placed at the foot of the windshield or on the pillar and is accompanied by a blue triangle with a lightning bolt; inside, the crew has a similar switch within reach. Depending on the category the shape of the head and the color of the cover differ, which is why several types are offered. In a number of categories a control for the extinguisher with a red letter is next to it. These small things are immediately visible on a model and move a build up a class.
First mark the place and drill the hole with a micro drill eight tenths of a millimeter in diameter. Seat the button dry, check the height of the head above the panel and only then secure it with a drop of super glue applied with a pin. Apply the pictogram from the sheet only once the paint has dried and before the final varnish, so that the edge of the film disappears.
