This is a set of fine 3D printed tire valve stems bent through 90 degrees (type 1) in 1:9 scale. The manufacturer is Decalcas. It is not a kit but an accessory for superdetailing the wheels of motorcycle models, which faithfully imitates the bent inflation valves used on modern machines.
Bent valve stems are a small but conspicuous detail of modern motorcycle wheels. On a model, where the rims and the tires are markedly in view, such an element gives a wheel the authenticity that the rubber on its own lacks. The valve stems are designed to keep the sharpness of their detail even without priming.
Separate the small parts from the carrier carefully with a sharp scalpel and glue them with a spot of super glue (cyanoacrylate). A small pre-drilled hole can help to seat a valve stem in a rim. Paint the elements according to the subject, usually in a metallic or black shade.
The set is supplied unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package.
