A 1:570 deck upgrade with a photo-etched fret for the battleship HMS Prince of Wales replaces the molded surface with the texture of wood.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set belongs to a model of the British battleship Prince of Wales in the ratio 1:570. According to the name it consists of a deck covering with the texture of wood and of a fret of photo-etched parts. You are buying an upgrade, not the plastic moldings of the ship herself.
The Prince of Wales belonged to the King George V class and went into action in March 1941 in such haste that workers from the yard were still at work on board. In May she already fought the Bismarck in the Denmark Strait and hit her so that the German ship began to lose fuel. In August 1941 she carried the British prime minister to the talks on the Atlantic Charter, and on the tenth of December that year she succumbed to a Japanese air attack off the Malayan coast. The wreck lies in the South China Sea today and is a protected war grave.
Try dry first how the covering seats around the turrets and the superstructures and shorten any overhangs with a new blade. Attach the metal items one at a time and protect the finished area with masking tape during every further spray pass. Darkening the gaps with a weak wash comes right at the end, otherwise it would spread into broad patches.
