The Jaguar C-X75 in the copper orange film form from the picture Spectre, a finished metal model in 1:64.
Responsibility details are not available.
The concept of the British marque showed itself for the first time at the Paris motor show in 2010. It combined four electric motors with a pair of gas micro turbines, which charged the battery while the car was running. For the planned series version a force-fed four-cylinder of 1.6 liters with a system output of over eight hundred horses was reckoned with, but in 2012 the decision fell to stop the project.
The running prototypes were left standing in a hall and the filmmakers used them in a picture shot in 2015. In it the car is driven by the villain Hinx during a night chase through the streets of Rome against an opponent from a competing British marque. For the filming the stunt cars were given simpler combustion machinery and the copper orange paint with black elements that became the recognition mark of the whole scene.
The casting captures precisely the film version. The low wedge-shaped body has the side intakes behind the doors, the rear diffuser and the exhaust tips all rendered, the glazing of the cabin is clear and the racing bucket seats are visible inside. The wheels carry a dark spoke pattern and the discs behind them are detailed.
This is a finished collector's casting in a transport box with a window. It is neither glued nor painted nor completed with further components, and after unpacking it goes straight onto a shelf. The film sub-line of this marque is among the most sought after by collectors and the cars from it serve as a gift for a fan of the series as well.
