A paint from the IONIC line carried under the manufacturer's part number IONIC-0168 and the name Armour Grey. It is a gray shade whose name points to armored vehicles and to armor. Compare the tone against the manufacturer's color chart and expect a dried coat on the model to look different from the paint in the bottle.
The most direct use is the gray schemes of armored vehicles, guns and combat equipment, either as a base coat or alongside darker and lighter tones when modulating surfaces. On figures the same gray works on armor, helmets and gear. Outside military subjects it serves on concrete walls, on paving and on the machinery of dioramas. It sits well with earthy browns, glazes and pigments, so it is easy to turn it into an undercoat for later grime.
Stir the contents thoroughly before work, as the pigment settles at the bottom. Apply thin coats and add the next one only once the previous has dried; a single heavy coat clogs the engraved seams and the fine relief. Choose the thinner and the ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging; for an airbrush it needs more thinning than for a brush. Try the shade on a test piece, because a large area always looks lighter than a small sample. Rinse the tools right after work.
The package contains the stated shade. The thinner, brushes and varnishes are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
