The fifth part of the series of add-on hair sets. According to the name, the package holds four hairstyle forms to fit onto the head of a built figure.
Responsibility details are not available.
The series this set belongs to adds to built figures the thing that is otherwise hardest to change: the hairstyle. The numeral after the word Vol. says which part of the series you are holding, and the information about four types defines how many different forms are inside. Each part of the series meanwhile plays on different shapes, so collecting more than one set makes sense.
The hair is molded from hard plastic, which holds the sharp edges of the strands. The surface is smooth and in photographs it reflects light more than the rest of the figure does; anyone wanting to prevent that reaches for a matte varnish in a spray can, applied in thin coats and from a greater distance.
Fitting is a matter of a single movement: the part is placed against the mounting in the head and pressed until it seats. Nothing is glued or screwed, so a finished character can carry long strands one day and a short cut the next. Deal with storing the spare parts in a box with compartments; pieces left loose are easily scratched.
The character the hairstyle is fitted to is obtained separately. The set is built as extra equipment, not as a whole model, and the contents of the box match that. So check that your figure comes from the same kit series. The set also suits as a gift for a model already built: the recipient need take nothing apart, only change what is on the head, and the character gets a completely new expression. For a collection it is the simplest way to turn one figure into several.
