New Ware McDonnell Douglas A-12 Avenger – EXPERT Kabuki Masks 1:48 are the most complete kabuki set for spraying the cabin, the lights and the wheels of a model of the experimental carrier bomber.

A set of self-adhesive masking templates of kabuki paper (washi tape) in 1:48 scale from New Ware. The EXPERT line offers the widest scope of masking: the inner and the outer side of the canopy, the color of the frame seals, the other transparent parts, the position and landing lights, the anti-glare and other dark surfaces, and the wheels. The templates are machine-cut to the shape of the parts of the A-12 Avenger II aircraft model.
The McDonnell Douglas A-12 Avenger II was a project for an American stealth carrier attack aircraft of the late 1980s with the untraditional concept of a triangular flying wing. The program was canceled in 1991 before the prototype was finished, so the aircraft never flew. Even so it remains an attractive and unusual subject for modelers.
Mask in layers: the interior of the frames, the seals, then the final color. The EXPERT set makes it possible to spray even the lights and the dark surfaces without decals. The exact cutting saves time compared with cutting tape by hand. Take the masks off once the paint has dried.
This is a masking set, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
