Douglas A-4 Skyhawk, airbrakes 1:32 are resin brake panels for faithfully showing a model with the brakes open.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft kit. It holds airbrakes for an A-4 Skyhawk model in 1:32 scale, usually with the option of showing them in the open position together with faithful detail in the brake wells. It replaces the simplified parts of a plastic kit.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a light single-seat carrier attack aircraft used from the mid-1950s mainly by the US Navy and the Marine Corps. The airbrakes on the sides of the rear fuselage extend markedly and on the ground are often left open.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Open brakes with the well exposed raise the sense of fidelity of a standing model. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
