Pylons and LAU-114 rails for a model of the F-15C fighter aircraft in the early version, in 1:48 scale and intended for Great Wall Hobby kits. The wing pylon carries rails on its sides, on which guided stores are hung; their shape and their fitting changed on the F-15 over the course of its service, so early machines look different in this place than later ones.
The F-15C is the single-seat fighter version of a heavy twin-engine aircraft intended for the fight for air superiority. The attribute early in the name sets the early version apart, that is the state in the first years of service. When building a particular machine it pays to compare the arrangement of the pylons with photographs, because it is the external stores that reveal the period and the unit more reliably than the paint.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest down, so that the pylon sits against the wing over its whole surface. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Fit them using one common template, or at least with a measured distance from the leading edge, otherwise the left and the right side will diverge and it will show when viewed from the front. It pays to paint them separately and to fit them only after the wing has been painted; choose the glue according to the material of the parts, and you will find the particular procedure in the manufacturer's instructions.
