The Bf 109 G-10 was among the late production versions of the German fighter aircraft, whose Gustav line came about right up to the end of the war. It was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 inverted V12 engine, and against the older Gustavs the machine differed in a modified engine cowling and in further details, which still diverged between the individual makers. The U4 designation in the name refers to a factory modification of the machine, that is to a change carried out in production itself, not at a unit.
This is a sheet of decals in 1:72 scale for this version. Which particular machines the sheet covers and to what extent is stated in the instructions enclosed with the sheet; from them you will also tell which decals from the kit will stay unused. The sheet suits any kit of the Bf 109 G-10 in 1:72 scale; it is only advisable to compare the size of the decals with the part, because the shapes of the individual kits differ slightly.
Go over the area under the decal with a gloss varnish, as on a matte surface a silvery haze will appear under the film. Cut the decal out as closely as possible, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it can be slid off the backing. Seat it with a damp brush, soak the surplus water up with a paper towel and use a softener on a surface with engraving, so that the film draws itself into the detail. Once it has dried, go over the model with a final varnish in the degree of gloss you want. The maker's instructions give the recommended procedure.
The sheet is for modelers who build a late Gustav in 1:72 scale and want markings other than those a kit offers. A model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
