Artwox Model 1:700 a wooden deck for the battleship Yamato with a masking sheet and photo-etched parts is a combined set of accessories to the Fujimi 46000 plastic kit, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Artwox Model combines three things: a veneer deck with the laying of the planks printed on it and a self-adhesive backing, a masking sheet and photo-etched parts. It is intended for a model of the Japanese battleship Yamato in 1:700 scale and is cut for the Fujimi 46000 kit.
The veneer is one large thin part and once it touches the plastic you do not get a second chance. The proven procedure is to stick it on from the centerline toward the sides: lay the part on, hold it at one point in the middle, and only then press it down gradually toward the bow and the stern. That way you push the air out and no bubble arises in the middle of the area, which can no longer be removed.
On a battleship the deck is interrupted by the barbettes of the gun turrets, by hatches and by the bases of the superstructures. The cut-outs are prepared in the part, but plastic castings sometimes have slightly thicker edges. It pays to try every cut-out dry first, to do any trimming with a new blade laid against the plastic and to take the offcuts away in small pieces. Use tweezers on the very small areas between the superstructures, as with your fingers you will bend the part there before you lay it down.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a standalone model. The base kit and paints are not included in the package.
