Type 039G is a modern diesel-electric submarine of the navy of the People's Republic of China. It is a development variant of the original Type 039 with a reworked sail and with improved behavior when running submerged and a reduction of the radiated noise. The boats are intended for coastal as well as ocean-going anti-submarine and patrol work.
The sail and the retractable gear can be built, according to the instructions, either for surface or for submerged running. The hull consists of an upper and a lower half — sand the seams down after gluing. Apply the dark scheme of the hull with an airbrush, and put the decals with the hull number onto a smooth glossy base. Seat the finished model in the stand supplied.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
