A relief colored 3D decal for a detailed rendering of the cockpit interior of the British Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter in 1:35 scale. The set is intended for the plastic kit from Border Model. It is not a model or a part of one but a colored decal detail that takes the place of laborious instrument painting and of photo-etched interior sets.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb was a British fighter of the Second World War with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The Vb configuration carried the so-called B wing with two twenty millimeter cannons and machine guns and became one of the most produced versions of the Spitfire. The aircraft is famous for the elegant elliptical outline of its wing.
The relief decal carries colored instrument panels, side panels and the detail of the cockpit. It is applied as a wet decal: the part is soaked, slid into place and left to dry. Do not apply a decal softener or a decal fixer - they would attack the printed resin. Painting the small items and assembling photo-etch therefore falls away.
This is an accessory for the kit named, not a model in its own right. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
