Vallejo True Metallic Metal SHADE, Hydra Turquoise

A colored metal shade from the True Metallic Metal (TMM) range, the SHADE subrange. It is a strongly pigmented, water-thinnable acrylic metallic ink with a gloss finish that is layered over a base metallic and tints it without suppressing the metallic sheen. The Hydra Turquoise shade is a fresh turquoise tone between blue and green for candy effects and colored shading. It comes in an 18 ml dropper bottle. Within the TMM system it combines with the base (BASE), the highlight (LIGHT) and the airbrush version.

Use

• Applied as a translucent colored glaze over a gloss metal base coat for a turquoise candy effect.
• It can be thinned with water or with a medium for finer shading and for flowing into detail.
• It keeps the metallic sheen of the surface underneath and does not dull it.
• Shake thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom.
• Apply colored and metallic coats toward the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
