HMCS Huron (G24) 1944 is a plastic kit of the Canadian Tribal class destroyer in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Tribal class destroyer of the Royal Canadian Navy as she was in 1944. The hull can be built at full height on a stand or as a waterline. The package holds engraved decks, superstructure, gun turrets, funnels and a decal sheet with the markings of the ship.
HMCS Huron was one of the Canadian vessels of the Tribal class, commissioned in 1943. In the Second World War she operated with the British Home Fleet and took part in escort as well as combat operations in European waters; later she served in the Korean War as well. The main armament consisted of guns of 120 mm caliber.
We recommend a thin cement for plastic and painting with an airbrush, ideally over a base primer. Paint the hull and the decks before fitting the small parts. Thin photo-etched railings and rigging, which are not included in the package, will add to the realism.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
