Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory, not a ship model. The self-adhesive wooden deck of fine veneer is laser-cut to the shape of the flight deck of the American aircraft carrier USS Saratoga CV-3 in 1:700 scale. The printed-in drawing of the planks replaces smooth plastic and gives the extensive flight deck a realistic wooden look. The set is intended for a plastic kit matching this ship and this scale.
USS Saratoga CV-3 was one of the Lexington-class aircraft carriers of the US Navy, which came about by converting hulls originally intended as battlecruisers. The ship had a long wooden flight deck and served in the Pacific throughout the Second World War. After the war she was used as a target in the nuclear tests at Bikini Atoll.
Clean and degrease the extensive flight deck carefully before sticking anything on. The parts peel off their backing and are laid on from one end, with the veneer pressed down evenly so that no bubbles form and nothing shifts. Once it is on, it is a good idea to fix the deck with a matte clear varnish and, if you like, to pick the markings out lightly.
This is a separate accessory to a plastic model. The ship kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
