An injection-molded plastic kit of the Hungarian 41M Turán II medium tank in 1:72 scale from IBG. The set uses modern molding with fine detail and link-and-length tracks, and is completed by decals. The exact contents of the box follow the particular release.
The Turán was a Hungarian medium tank of the Second World War whose design grew out of a Skoda prototype. The 41M Turán II version was rearmed with a heavier 75 mm gun for more effective combat. Only a limited number of vehicles of this version were built, and they were used on the Eastern Front, which makes the model an interesting piece of less common equipment.
In 1:72 scale work with a sharp blade and liquid polystyrene cement, and assemble the link-and-length tracks patiently, segment by segment. After the primer, spray the Hungarian three-color camouflage with an airbrush, lay the decals onto a gloss base and finish the tank with washes in the detail, a dry brush on the edges and dust pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
