An injection-molded plastic kit of the large open 770K (W-150) car in 1:72 scale from ACE. The designation Offener Tourenwagen refers to the open touring car body. It is a short-run kit of a period luxury car used for parade duties.
The 770K type of the W-150 series was a large eight-cylinder luxury car built in the 1930s and 1940s. Cars of this class served as parade and escort vehicles and were notable for their massive bodywork, long wheelbase and the open Tourenwagen version. They were among the largest production cars of their day.
Clean up the short-run parts carefully and dry-fit them. The bodywork is best painted smoothly, with a good base and a gloss coat. Pick out the chrome items with metallic paint or a polishing technique. Use thin cement for the plastic.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
