This aftermarket 3D printed resin set in 1:72 scale contains six guided missiles of the 9K121 Vikhr system. It is not a model but external armament for detailing kits. The 3D printing gives thin stabilizing fins and fine detail on the missile bodies.
The 9K121 Vikhr is a Soviet and Russian laser-guided anti-tank missile introduced in the 1980s. It is carried in launcher blocks on the Ka-50 and Ka-52 attack helicopters and on the Su-25T attack aircraft and is meant to destroy armored and airborne targets at long range.
Separate the parts from the supports, wash and degrease them, and bond them with super glue. Sand with respiratory protection. Spray the missiles in the base shade, pick out the tips and bands, and bring up the panel lines and details with a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
