A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the landing gear doors of the American Douglas A-4B Skyhawk light attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. The castings have thin walls and fine texture on the inner and the outer face, which injection-molded plastic manages only with difficulty at this scale.
On a model with the landing gear down the doors are very much in view, and their thickness and detail strongly affect the overall impression. The resin castings offer realistically thin edges and accurate inner structure, so the wheel bays and the gear legs look convincing. Once painted and lightly weathered, the texture of the parts comes out.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
