A-6 Intruder turned probes 1:72 (MASTER) are turned metal replacement parts (pitot tube, angle of attack sensor and refueling probe) for building the Grumman A-6 carrier bomber in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precise turned metal parts from the Polish manufacturer MASTER for a model of the Grumman A-6 Intruder carrier-borne attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. It contains the pitot tube, the angle of attack sensor and the refueling probe, which replace the soft and easily damaged plastic parts with crisp and durable metal items.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was an American two-seat carrier-borne attack aircraft capable of precise strikes in any weather. It served with the US Navy and the Marine Corps for decades and became the backbone of carrier strike aviation. The fine probes on the nose are among its characteristic details.
Carefully separate the parts from the carrier strip, pre-drill the hole in the plastic and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). In 1:72 scale they are very small, so work with tweezers and good lighting. Metal holds paint better once a primer has been applied.
Supplied as a separate accessory. The base aircraft kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
