A6M2b Zero painting mask 1:72 from Art Scale - a single-sided self-adhesive express mask for clean spraying of the cockpit glazing and the wheels on models of the Japanese Zero carrier fighter. Intended for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks for 1:72 models of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero carrier fighter. These are single-sided express masks cut from quality masking film (the kabuki type) that cover the outer surfaces of the cockpit glazing and the landing gear wheels. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for easy masking; the individual parts are numbered for precise application. The masks are cut for the Tamiya kit.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the best known Japanese carrier fighter of the Second World War. The A6M2b version (Model 21) made its name with its great range, excellent agility and its use from the decks of aircraft carriers in the early phases of the war in the Pacific. The long glazed cockpit canopy is a prominent feature on a model, and with a mask it is painted easily and cleanly.
Degrease the glazing and lay the masks exactly along the engraved frames. Spray the paint in thin coats so it does not creep under the edge. Take the masks off while the paint is only touch dry. The wheel masks give a sharp transition between the hub and the tire.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
