1:72 Aermacchi M-345 canopy airbrush mask is a set of masking templates for the cockpit glazing, not a kit. It makes it possible to spray the canopy frames sharply and symmetrically even in the small 1:72 scale.

This item is an accessory for a build, not a model of an aircraft. It contains masking templates cut to the shape of the glazing, which are stuck onto the clear part of the cockpit, sprayed over with the color of the frames and removed once dry. The aim is a sharp edge and the same width on all the frames - and it is exactly that which decides the final impression on models of jet trainers, because the canopy makes up a substantial part of the silhouette. The set is made by MH models within its range of aircraft airbrush masks.
The Aermacchi M-345 is an Italian light jet trainer intended for both basic and advanced pilot training. It follows on from the M-311 program and takes over its layout with a high wing, one jet engine in the rear fuselage and a crew of two in tandem, where the instructor's rear seat is raised for the view. Compared with older machines of the same class it offers modernized digital avionics and a cockpit laid out so that the controls come close to new-generation combat aircraft. The type was brought into service by the Aeronautica Militare. The long one-piece canopy with a marked division between the cockpits is its most striking identifying mark.
Wash the clear part, degrease it and let it dry completely. Release the individual templates from the sheet with the tip of a sharp knife and transfer them with tweezers straight into place - handle the adhesive side as little as possible. Press the mask down in the middle first and then gradually toward the edges, helping the curvature with a toothpick. Cut any sections left open from the waste of the sheet or fill them in with narrow masking tape. Spray the frames in two steps: the color of the interior first, then the external shade. Always in thin coats, so that the paint does not run under the edge. Take the masks off shortly after they have dried, pulling at a sharp angle.
The set contains masking parts only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
