A resin detail set of four AIM-9M Sidewinder air-to-air missiles in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft but a stores accessory for models of modern Western combat aircraft.
The AIM-9M is an improved version of the Sidewinder with better resistance to jamming and to decoy flares. For a long time it was the standard armament of machines such as the F-16, the F/A-18, the F-15 and the A-10. Faithful stores give a model the exact configuration of its day.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Use a smooth gloss base under the decals. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
