The Airspeed Envoy with Lynx engines in 1:72 scale is a plastic kit of the British twin-engine transport aircraft of the 1930s. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit from the manufacturer RS models captures the British light transport aircraft Airspeed AS.6 Envoy, a twin-engine machine of the mid-1930s. This version corresponds to the one with Armstrong Siddeley Lynx radial engines, which are smaller in shape than on some of the other variants. The Envoy came about as an enlarged development of the Courier type and was used in civil transport as well as for special tasks.
The model is a typical kit of the short-run category: moldings in gray plastic come with clear glazing parts and a decal sheet. The surface carries fine engraved detail. The assembly calls for more careful preparation of the parts and for a model cement, and the package holds neither paints nor glue. Check the exact part count and the range of color options against the particular package.
The kit will be appreciated by more experienced modelers and by collectors of interwar and prewar aircraft who want to add a less usual British transport type in 1:72 scale to a collection.
Paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
