A plastic kit of the Soviet Antonov An-30 aircraft in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Amodel. It is a short-run injection-molded model intended rather for more experienced modelers. It is built from plastic parts and finished with decal markings according to the instructions.
The An-30 was a Soviet twin-engine turboprop aircraft intended for aerial survey and mapping, derived from the design of the An-24 and An-26 transport types. Its characteristic features were the glazed nose and the camera openings in the floor of the fuselage. It served for geodetic and cartographic tasks and for observation flights. Its NATO reporting name was Clank.
Pay attention to the glazed nose and to masking the cockpit. Dry fit the parts and dress the mold seams, and on the large areas use primer and an airbrush. Apply gloss varnish before the decals and finally even the surface out to the sheen you want.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
