Black Dog 1:72 Mk-53/B-53 thermonuclear bomb is a resin kit of a replica aircraft bomb. It is not a paint or an airplane model but a separate accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Black Dog for assembling a scaled-down replica of the American Mk-53/B-53 aircraft bomb. The package holds resin castings; it is a separate accessory for a display case or a diorama, not an airplane model.
The B-53 (earlier designated Mk-53) was a large-caliber American thermonuclear bomb from the Cold War period, intended for strategic bombers. It was marked by a sturdy cylindrical body and was one of the most massive bombs of its kind. The model captures its typical shape and surface detail.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue the resin with super glue and protect your airways while sanding. Apply a filler primer and a period shade; the surface can be fine-tuned with a light wash to bring out the panels and the markings.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
