A set of precisely cast resin underwing bomb racks for the Czechoslovak Avia B.534 biplane fighter in 1:72 scale. This is an aftermarket detail part that completes or replaces the simplified plastic racks from the base kit, not a standalone airplane model.
The Avia B.534 was a Czechoslovak single-seat biplane fighter of the 1930s, powered by a liquid-cooled Hispano-Suiza 12Y V12 engine built under license at Avia. In the later version it could carry racks for light bombs under the wings, which made it a light ground-attack aircraft alongside its fighter role. In its day it was among the best of the biplanes.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, carefully separate them from the casting block (the gate) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. Before bonding, offer the small racks up dry under the wing and check their position and symmetry; after painting, blend them with the shade of the lower surfaces of the aircraft.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
