Eduard 1:72 Avia B.534 – bracing wires and turnbuckles is a photo-etched set from Eduard for faithful bracing on a model of the Avia B.534 biplane.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, focused on the bracing wires and turnbuckles (the rigging) of a model of the Avia B.534 biplane fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit, but fine metal parts that take the place of the wire bracing between the wings.
The Avia B.534 was a Czechoslovak biplane fighter of the 1930s and one of the best machines of its class in its day. Its structure was characterized by exactly this extensive wire bracing between the wings, which gives a model its typically airy structure.
The set contains photo-etched turnbuckles and braces for an accurate and fine rendering of the rigging. When building, first mark out and carefully pre-drill the anchor holes, so that the drill does not go right through the wing. Bend the parts with tweezers and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; the tension of the rigging is best completed with a fine thread, according to the builder's own practice.
A photo-etched set is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
