This is an accessory set, not an aircraft kit. It covers the internal equipment of the Lancaster in the Mk.I and Mk.III versions in 1:72 scale and is meant for modelers who want a more thoroughly worked interior of the fuselage. On a large bomber with extensive glazing you can see more of the interior than you would expect, so the extra work does show on the finished model.
The Avro Lancaster was a British four-engined bomber with a long, undivided bomb bay and twin fins. The Mk.I and Mk.III versions differed in where their engines came from, not in the layout of the fuselage, so the internal equipment was essentially the same on both. The interior was broken up, with crew stations spread from the glazed nose through the pilot's position to the rear of the fuselage, and it is that complexity that makes interior sets interesting for the modeler.
The parts may be resin or plastic, so match the procedure to the material of the parts in the package. Wash resin castings in lukewarm soapy water first, so that the paint will hold on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a disc, level the surface with a file and sand wet and with respiratory protection. Resin is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), plastic with ordinary modeling cement. Fit and paint everything before the fuselage halves are glued together, and keep dry-fitting to see whether the halves can be closed without pressure; thin the walls down as needed. After the base coat, add a dark wash and dry brush work, and finish the small instruments and the harness at the end. It is worth deciding in advance which parts will still be visible once the fuselage is closed, and spending your time mainly on those.
