Eduard color photo-etched set, Avro Shackleton MR.3 (1:72)

A pre-printed, color, self-adhesive photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard for refining the cockpit of a model of the British Avro Shackleton MR.3 maritime patrol aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft: it is an accessory that replaces selected plastic parts with more faithful metal ones.

The real subject

The Shackleton was a British four-engined maritime patrol and antisubmarine aircraft; the MR.3 version differed from the earlier ones among other things in its tricycle landing gear with a nosewheel and in its auxiliary tanks.
