An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Bedford QLB truck in 1:72 scale from IBG. This is the QLB version with 4x4 drive, adapted as a tractor for the 40 mm Bofors anti-aircraft gun. The package holds decals with two markings from 1944 and 1945, one British and one Polish.
The Bedford QL was one of the most widespread British three-ton trucks of the Second World War. It was produced in many variants for different tasks. The QLB version served as a tractor for the 40 mm Bofors anti-aircraft gun and carried its crew and ammunition, which made it an important link in the air defense of ground units.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the chassis, the axles and the cab before you close the assembly up. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal. Khaki green (SCC) suits British vehicles; tune the weathering with washes into the pressed recesses and dust pigments on the running gear and the underside of the truck.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
