Eduard 1:72 Bf 109F propeller early PRINT is a 3D-printed resin propeller for a Messerschmitt Bf 109F model in 1:72 scale. It is a replacement detail part for a kit, not a model of the aircraft.

This small set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard replaces the propeller of a plastic Messerschmitt Bf 109F model in 1:72 scale with a part made by 3D printing in resin. With a propeller the difference shows at once: printing manages thinner and more accurately shaped blades than an injection mold can produce. The word early in the name tells this form of the propeller apart from the late variant, which the manufacturer offers separately - they are two different renderings, not two packagings of the same part.
The Bf 109F was a single-engined fighter with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine, on which the shapes of the nose were markedly cleaned up and the wingtips rounded compared with earlier versions. The propeller was a variable-pitch metal unit with a conical spinner, which makes up a prominent part of the aircraft's silhouette from the front. During production of the F series the form of the blades and of the spinner changed, which is why different sets exist for it.
Wash the part in lukewarm water with a detergent and let it dry. Cut the print supports off with a fine saw or a sharp scalpel and level the remains carefully - on thin blades go gently, so you do not force the material out of shape. It is glued with super glue. Painting: a primer, a dark shade for the blades and the spinner handled separately. Sharp color transitions on the spinner are easier to do with masking tape cut into strips. The edges of the blades wore, so a light suggestion of wear on the leading edge brings the model to life.
The set is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. The base kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
