This add-on set from the Czech maker Eduard brings landing gear bays with faithful internal detail for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F in 1:72 scale. The parts are made by direct 3D printing in resin and match the rendering with rounded corners to the bays. It is an improvement to the interior of the wing, not a standalone aircraft kit.
The Bf 109 had its main landing gear attached at the wing root, and with the gear retracted the bays and their structural detail stayed clearly visible from below. The rendering of the bays varied during production, and the version with rounded corners matches one of the production variants of the Friedrich series.
Wash the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The inside of the bays is usually sprayed light gray or blue-gray, and the ribs and runs can be picked out with a wash shade and a dry brush. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an accessory for a build, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
