Eduard 1:72 Bf 109G-2 LööK is an accessory set with the instrument panel for a model of the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the LööK accessory line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard handles the instrument panel and its immediate surroundings. It is not a kit and not a finished model but an accessory for a model in 1:72 scale. In a small scale in particular, the front panel is the part on which painting by hand pays off least, because the individual dials are only fractions of a millimeter across and accuracy can be held only with a great deal of patience.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 was among the first series machines of the so-called Gustav family, which came in 1942 and brought the more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine. Against the G-1 version built alongside it, it had no pressurized cabin, which made it simpler and lighter. Machines of this form flew on the Eastern Front, in the Mediterranean and over North Africa and became the most widespread form of the German fighter in the second half of the war.
Try the set dry before you reach for it with glue. The original plastic part usually needs thinning or partly cutting away, so that the new panel seats in the right position and does not get in the way of joining the halves of the fuselage. Work with tweezers and glue in spots, so that no glue reaches a visible surface. A matte varnish will bring the rest of the cabin together. The placing of the parts is shown by the enclosed instructions, which you should follow from the start.
