A color photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for building a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter in 1:72 scale. The parts are pre-printed and self-adhesive and are aimed above all at the cockpit, that is the instrument panel, the side panels and the seat belts. The set quickly lifts the look of the interior without laborious painting. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory; the base kit has to be obtained separately.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of the German fighter of the Second World War, nicknamed Gustav. Its recognition feature was the fairings over the fuselage weapons, the so-called Beule. The G-6 version was built in large numbers and deployed on every front. The cockpit is a rewarding place for detail accessories.
Carefully separate the parts from the fret and degrease the surfaces before gluing. Place the pre-colored self-adhesive elements with tweezers; to be safe, a small drop of super glue can be added to the joint. In the small scale, work with a sharp knife and good lighting.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
