This is a diorama accessory from the Czech maker Brengun, intended for a model of the German Wasserfall guided anti-aircraft missile in 1:72 scale. A model of a missile simply standing on the floor of a display case looks unfinished, because what the real thing rested on is missing. The base gives the model stability, a natural attitude and above all the context that lets a viewer understand what they are looking at. On a diorama it can then be completed with terrain, a base board and further equipment. The exact contents of the package and the material of the parts are given on the packaging of the set; they are not stated here.
Proceed according to the material of the parts. Always wash resin castings in lukewarm soapy water first to remove the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the area wet. Degrease etched sheet with alcohol and spray a primer. Both are bonded with super glue; cement for plastic will not help here. Do not set the base on a diorama dry but seat it into the groundwork so that it rests on its whole surface. A brush or an airbrush will handle the painting, and a wash plus a dry brush will tune the weathering.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and it is not a model of the missile. The base model, a base board, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
