Responsibility details are not available.
A large injection-molded plastic kit of the European maritime patrol aircraft Breguet Atlantic 1 in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Revell. Thanks to the size of the real subject, even in this scale it is a large model with a long fuselage, massive wings and extensive glazing. Check the particular decal schemes and the contents of the package against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic was a twin-engined maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft developed for European navies. It was powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce Tyne turboprop engines, which gave it great range and long endurance over the ocean. A characteristic feature was the extended tail boom with a magnetic anomaly detector for finding submarines. The machine served with the navies of France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands for patrol, reconnaissance and anti-submarine work.
Glue the parts with a liquid cement for plastic; sand the long fuselage and the wing joints carefully and reinforce them if needed. Mask the extensive glazing and glue it with canopy glue. Because of the size and the weight of the model, check the strength of the landing gear and the balance if necessary. Maritime machines carried light gray and white schemes - after the gloss varnish and the decals, bring out the panel lines with a wash and add fine traces of service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
