Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the two-seat Bücker Bu-131D trainer biplane in 1:72 scale. The model is meant to be glued together and painted; a finished example spans only a few centimeters, so it fits into a display case even among larger aircraft of the same scale. The exact contents of the package and the number of parts differ between editions, so check them on the packaging.
The Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann is a two-seat trainer and aerobatic biplane of the mid-1930s. The D version used an inverted inline air-cooled Hirth engine and became the most widespread variant of the type. The machine was used for basic and aerobatic training, was built under license outside Germany as well, and a number of examples still fly in private hands. The structure is mixed, with a steel tube fuselage and fabric covering, which shows on a model in the shapes and in the surface texture.
Dry-fit the parts first so that you know where sanding will be needed. Glue with thin cement for plastic applied by capillary action, and on thin struts work one at a time and let them cure. Paint and weather the cockpit and interior before closing up the fuselage. After the base color apply a gloss varnish, then the decals on top of it, and finally a matte or semi-gloss coat. Make the bracing between the wings of a biplane from fine monofilament or wire at the very end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
