Bulgarian Arrows No. 4 - the Bf 109 G in Bulgarian service 1:72 is a decal sheet from the brand Exotic Decals for plastic models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory to a model, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The fourth sheet of the Bulgarian Arrows series moves the theme from the Emils to the later Gustavs: it brings the markings of Bulgarian Messerschmitt Bf 109 G machines in 1:72 scale. The package holds decals, not plastic parts - the basis of the build remains a model of the Bf 109 G from a maker of your choice.
What to watch out for when choosing a model
The Bf 109 G was built in a range of subversions that differ in the shape of the canopy, the wheel bulges, the armament and the bulges on the fuselage. Before buying a kit, therefore, check that the subversion of the model matches the machine whose markings you want to use.
The Bf 109 G was a direct development of the Bf 109 series with a more powerful engine and a strengthened armament. Against the older Emils it had a higher weight and higher performance and became the most numerously built version of the type. The Bulgarian Air Force committed the Gustavs in the later phase of the Second World War, when they were among its most modern fighter machines. The Bulgarian national insignia and the different shades of camouflage give a model a look that is not often seen at shows.
Work only on a finished coat sealed with gloss varnish. Cut the motif out close to the edge of the print, soak it in warm water and once it comes free of the paper, slide it onto a dampened place. A decal softener will help the film seat into engraved lines and over raised details; apply it in a thin layer and do not move the decal any further. Once it is dry, wash off the remains of adhesive and seal the surface with varnish in the chosen degree of gloss.
It is a decal set in its own right. The model, paints, varnish and a decal softener are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
